Memorial monument to Indiana workers who have lost their lives while on the job. Beginning in 1995, the Indianapolis labor community gathers at the monument every April 28 to honor workers who’ve died on the job.

The inscription at the base of the monument reads:
"In memory of all Indiana workers who have died at work or as a result of their labor.  Dedicated this Worker Memorial Day, April 28, 1995."

The following labor organizations sponsored the monument:
